Does this myth/Legend/creature (what have you) sound familiar to anyone?

It's called Thin Man or Tall Man or something like that... I can't really remember much but I remember that they're portrayed as extremely thin and tall like person was stretched out. And honestly that's all I can really remember about them! If that horrid description rings a bell for anyone can you tell me what you know? The name might be wrong... I spent over an hour and a half trying to find something on them yesterday and failed... Please and thank you!
